Enjin, an information technology company specializing in online gaming that created Enjin Coin (ENJ), intends to play charitable donations with the help of collectible items based on a chain of blocks that will benefit players who donate.
According to a press release provided by CryptoGlobe, Enjin is launching a charity platform in partnership with the SENS Research Foundation, an age-related charity organization, to gamify donations and encourage charitable funding.
The platform is designed to encourage donors to collect blockchain-based collectibles (non-glittered tokens or NFTs) created by Enjin on his platform. In essence, this means that whenever a donor makes a contribution through the platform, he or she receives a collection token representing the donation.
The token, according to the press release, will help provide greater transparency for donations thanks to the Ethereum blockchain and will “resonate more deeply with donors.” In the pilot platform with the SRF, the tokens can be "for specific laboratory equipment, funding for researchers or some other urgent need for a foundation."
Commenting on this step, Maxim Blagoi, CEO of Enjin, said:
“By creating a more exciting, playful and incentive-based system for human donations, we will encourage the ecosystem to actively contribute with a high potential for spreading the virus on a global scale instead of one-time donations.”
According to the document, tokens can be accumulated by individuals or teams and actively bargain. Donors will be encouraged to collect specific kits and create portfolios for collecting rewards, which further contributes to the donation experience.
The engineer added that as more gaming platforms are added to the gaming platform, NFT will be used as game items that can give players various special privileges. It is reported that on the Enjin platform collected more than 30 games.
Dr. Aubrey de Gray, co-founder of SRF, stated:
“Our work in treating age-related diseases depends entirely on active partners and donors, such as the Ethereum Foundation. Their continued support has a real and powerful positive effect on the vital work we do to improve the quality of life and increase the life expectancy of a healthy person. ”
It is known that Vitalik Buterin, one of the founders of Ethereum, donated Ethereum in the amount of more than 2.4 million US dollars.
