About blockchain security - part 2

In the first article of this series, we looked at the definition of Nakamoto consensus and the voting mechanism, under which evidence of work or a share of ownership allows “choosing a leader” to add a block to the common chain. Then we went over to the algorithms of the Byzantine generals and the ways by which the security analysis of such algorithms can be applied to blockchains using the Nakamoto agreement. Today we will complete a formal analysis of the blockchains and protocols of the Byzantine agreement, as well as idealized modeling of the blockchain system.

About blockchain security - part 1

Recently, I realized that I was stuck in a rabbit hole for educational work with blockchains. I was interested in this topic, because I have always been concerned about the guarantees of security and performance of blockchain protocols.
