Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum, noted that the use of blockchains outside the financial industry is still difficult, but there are prospects. He spoke about this at the largest event in the Asian continent dedicated to cryptoindustry - Token 2049.
Buterin, who acted among other well-known headliners, stressed:
“Blockchain will be widespread. And the first area where he showed himself is financial. Here, innovation technology has to compete with banks and prove that it is possible to break stereotypes and make financial services more accessible. ”
Vitaly Buterin noted that the blockchain can turn not only the financial market. In particular, an interesting use of distributed registry technology is digital identification (certificates, certificates, etc.). He turned to the audience to participate in the dialogue and identify several areas where the blockchain could still be used. Conference participants identified microinsurance, gaming industry, etc. As for personal plans, Buterin noted decentralized applications that will allow several actors to collaborate and exchange applications. He believes that thanks to this, smaller players will be able to compete with "business sharks".
