Quadrigacx co-founder Michael Patrin - cheater Omar Dhanani

The co-founder of Quadrigacx, a frustrated cryptobirge, was Patrick Omar Dhanani. The attacker was tried for theft of information and credit card fraud. Dhanani was sentenced to 1.5 years in US federal prison. He was later deported to Canada.

Patrin, formerly known as Dhanini, declined to comment on this information. According to Bloomberg, records of criminal past co-founder Quadrigacx officially confirmed. In 2013, Patrin together with Gerald Kotten founded the Quadriga cryptocurrency exchange. It is known that three years later, due to disagreements, their paths diverged. “I left the company and ceased to be interested in its future life. Since then, he has not been involved in the management of Quadriga, ”said Michael Patrin.

However, this disclosure brings even more riddle in the case concerning the loss of keys to access to cold storages and the “freezing” of client funds (the total amount is $ 190 million).
