Binance Bitcoin Exchange will temporarily suspend work on March 12.


Binans Exchange will conduct a scheduled system update on March 12 at 02:00 UTC, which will take approximately 8 hours. This was announced by CEO Binance Zhao Changpen in his Twitter with reference to the press service of the marketplace.


According to a press release, Binance is going to suspend deposits, withdrawals, as well as trade during this entire period. Those deposits that have not been completed before the start of the upgrade will be processed after the completion of the technical works.

The eight hours mentioned by the exchange team is an approximate time. In fact, developers may need more time to fix possible bugs during system upgrade.

Binance representatives also promise to maintain constant communication with their clients in order to keep them informed of all events.
