CasperLabs has hired ex-Ethereum developer Vlad Zamfir.

The research company CasperLabs announced that a new consensus protocol developer, Vlad Zamfir, had joined its team. There is a high probability that CasperLabs wants to compete with Ethereum, since Vlad Zamfir was the leading developer in this company.
Recall that in March 2017, Zamfir stated that Ethereum is unsafe, it does not scale well and has a “defective” infrastructure. He advised the crypto community to be as careful as possible when dealing with this blockchain.

Now CasperLabs is working on improving the algorithm for coordination with Ethereum (ETH) Casper Proof-of-Stake. Zamfir argues that the agreed PoS protocols will be safer and more reliable than the blockchain structures currently in use. True, he is not sure that Bitcoin and Ethereum will be able to update their protocols.

As for cooperation with CasperLabs, he says: “I am glad that CasperLabs is interested in implementing the scalable CBC Casper protocol, and I hope that their efforts will be successful. I thank the company for supporting my opinion and look forward to working together. ”
