Fraudsters tried to take advantage of the success of Square.

This week, fraudsters launched a new scheme in which they covered themselves with the well-known digital payment processing company Square.

According to the information, in the middle of the working week, users began to receive letters on behalf of the company, in which it was stated that Square added Stellar cryptocurrency (XLM). At the same time, the letter contained a proposal to receive 350 XLM for just $ 10, which users had to send to a specific address.

It is worth noting that this proposal was very tempting, since now 1 XLM token on the exchanges costs almost 30 US dollars. However, at the time of writing the material to the address indicated in the letter there were no payments received, it can be said that the actions of the fraudsters did not bring them results.
