Director of the Department of Payment Systems and Innovation Development, Alexander Yablunivsky, clarified that the crypto hryvnia is not a cryptocurrency in the usual sense of the word. Crypto-hryvnia is a bank digital currency and decentralization in this case is not mandatory. The pilot project has already been completed and the main task for the near future is to understand the new tool and get the response of the Ukrainians.
