Fidelity Digital Assets has mastered Lightning Network #LNTorch

On February 22, Fidelity Digital Assets announced on Twitter that it had acquired the Lightning Network [LN] torch from the bitcoin-maximalist @Wiz. She also raised the question of who should get the torch next.

Twitter says:

“We and our research team at the Fidelity Applied Technology Center received #LNTorch from @Wiz. To whom should we transfer this? #LNTrustChain.

Wiz said in its Twitter that the first Fidelity transaction costs 0.0364BTC or 3.64 million Satoshi, which is equivalent to $ 144.

After the aforementioned announcement, Fidelity Digital Assets answered the question they asked in a previous tweet. In response to LN's request, the wing of the digital assets of the investment bank announced that next year HBS Blockchain and the cryptocurrency club, a student club focused on cryptocurrency at the Harvard Business School, will receive Lightning Torch, as they focus on research and development:

“We chose @HBSCryptoClub to transfer to #LightningTorch, as they continue to provide #bitcoin research and development. Please send us your score at 3.65 million Satoshi. ”

Launched in mid-October, the center focused on digital assets of an investment bank announced that it would launch a cryptocurrency storage system in early 2019 because the number of institutional investors entering the market is increasing. However, in late January, Fidelity announced that their decision was postponed until March of this year. In addition, they announced that the first two coins, Bitcoin and Ethereum, will be the first two cryptocurrencies that will receive depot support.

Twitter was delighted with the announcement of Lightning, and several users suggested that this was an institutional shift that many supporters said would come in 2019.

On the official account of the Trading View platform they wrote:

“Congratulations! This is the best thing that happened after the invention of sliced bread. Everything is quick and easy. Please pass on the torch to our community. For all participants of TradingView and the technical team will be honored to participate in the Crypto Olympics. ”

Twitter user Beaxy stated:

“If you said a year ago that Fidelity will receive a digital bitcoin torch, people would call you crazy! Glad to watch it. ”

Given the positive attitude of Tesla CEO Elon Musk to cryptocurrencies and his bold predictions that digital assets will replace paper money once, Black Moon Research wrote:

“Throw this @elonmusk.
He just behaves like he doesn't want it, but he wants it. ”
