Survey: 70% of cryptocurrency holders almost never use them for payments.

The operator of cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets and payment systems Foundation for Interwallet Operability (FIO) published the results of a survey, according to which only 30% of cryptocurrency holders send them to other accounts one or more times a month. 43% made transactions only a few times a year, and 27% of owners of cryptocurrency did not make any payments using digital currencies at all.

It should be noted that 200 holders of cryptocurrency were accepted in the survey. The respondents were asked questions regarding the conduct of cryptocurrency transactions.

More than half of the respondents have acquired cryptocurrency in the past two years, and only 26% have owned coins for more than 3 years. Also, 26% have up to 10 different cryptoactive assets in their wallets, and 13.6% have up to 20 digital currencies.

One of the most common problems that cryptoinvestors face when dealing with cryptocurrencies are excessively high commissions, too long a time frame for confirming transactions, as well as problems with address formats.
